Rosebay Organic Fodds Pvt. Ltd. is India's first Certified and Registered Corporate Organic Farm Company. This enables us to follow a strict code of manufactuirng and supplying Organic Food Products and Dairy Products for Consumers. We follow many rules and regulations as specified by the Government, but at the same time we follow a production and retention cycle which is Good for both Nature and Animals and in the end Profitable for us. Listed below are the processes that we integrate into our Work flow.

Our Work Flow includes the Following:

  Heavy rains causes overflow of the water running through our land and several kilometers resulting in un-shaping of the soil and land cutting changing into wasteland.. The valuable water thus goes wasted. We have done detailed contouring and Plain Table survey and got the Digital mapping done by eminent engineers. Identifying its worth we have constructed a GLRV measuring 110 Mtrs x 60 mtrs x 2 mtrs as stated above.

  
  

  In order to make the efficient use of water and to prevent its unnecessary wastage through overflow, to avoid wastage of rain water and also the land, we have further identified most suitable area measuring about 1000 mtrs long x 500 mtrs wide x 3 mtrs deep which can be used for construction of a large reservoir.

  
  

  We have already constructed a good size of check Dam / anicuts. This would enable us to develop fish hatchery, convert the wasteland into fertile land, prevent wastage of rain water etc. Hundreds acres of land in the adjoining area get converted into fertile land and greenery.

  
  

  It would be observed that lot of study and partial execution of the project has been done by the Company but still lot more remains to be done for completion of the Dream Project, which would serve as an integrated and ideal demonstration Project, providing ample opportunities to associated entrepreneurs and enthuse many more in the area to convert the district into a large bowl of organic agro production We sincerely welcome one and all who can in any way associate with us or suggest ways and means for improvisation, Speeding, economizing etc Over and above the plan and execution programmed as stated hereinabove.

  The key to successful dairying is the availability of good quality dry and green fodder and concentrate feed ingredients throughout the year. To ensure this, we regularly get advice from national level Fodder Consultants, who have the expertise in growing, procurement, treatment and storage of a variety of fodder crops. Various modern and scientific methods of storage are adopted so as to extend the shelf life and yet preserve the nutritional value of the fodder.

  • Farm manure quantity to be 20-25 MT daily for the first year; and to grow regularly in subsequent years.
  • The cow manure and fodder wastes to be fed to Anaerobic High Rated Digesters.
  • Adopting advanced anaerobic digestion process and Community Biogas Plant model / technology.
  • With the said technology/process, the possible odor and air-pollution from cow manure is completely curtailed.

  • Biogas (Methane) obtained from digesters to be used to generate captive power.

  • A comprehensive analytical laboratory equipped with the latest cutting-edge computerized analyzing and testing equipments to be set-up wherein total quality aspects of all products i.e. from milk products, fertilizers, and fodder crop nutritional parameters, soil testing, water quality testing is done instantly, accurately and reliably.

  • To set-up a full-fledged Fodder Nursery under the guidance and supervision of renowned Specialist Agronomists and Fodder Consultants, wherein latest improved varieties of Exotic Grasses and conventional fodder crops with tested high-yielding genetic potential shall be grown in-house and supplied to concerned farmers as the breeder / founder seed stock. Also on-field services for soil conservation, soil/water testing, guidance of the on modern, productivity enhancing techniques, water management practices, etc. extension services to be provided to the farmers in the area.

  • The entire requirement of green fodder, dry fodder and concentrate feed ingredients sourced and procured from the group company who is the one of the largest certified organic land owner and producer of fodder.

  On a later stage we will be interacted with the farmers from the nearby villages. By understanding the benefits of organic certification & fodder crop potential, economics and the company’s proposed Fodder Cultivation Program, the farmers will be defiantly benefited and we hope the surrounding area will be well used for fodder cultivation.

  
  

  Fodder Cultivation Program will be implemented by the company in the following manner:-

  • Appraise farmers on program benefits, procedures, terms & conditions.
  • Interested farmers to apply to join the program;
  • After initial scrutiny, the company fodder consultants to select aspiring farmers who have resolved to join the fodder cultivation program;
  • A short training course in fodder production technology for the participating farmers;
  • Conduct soil testing, water quality testing and provide treatment, if needed
  • All mechanical operations in the field for the field preparation, such as:-

  Ploughing, Harrowing, Cultivating/Tilling, Leveling, Basal/Top dressing of Manures & Fertilizers, Sowing by Seed drill/ Planting of saplings, Planking, Bunding, Application of Irrigation, Inter-Culture, Harvesting, Loading & Trasportation.

  
  
  • Procure and provide reliable, genuine seeds/seedlings/saplings of the latest, improved varieties of different fodder crop species suitable for the field as per the local agro-climatic conditions.
  • The company to give assurance to local banks of promptly depositing fodder sale proceeds directly in the borrowers' bank accounts, if the local bank finance bonafide fodder growers for micro-irrigation facility on their fodder plots.
  • Farmers shall be encouraged to use top-quality organic bio-fertilizer/Vermi-compost for higher fodder yields. The use of chemical fertilizers shall be discouraged.
  • Similarly, the use of chemical pesticides and insecticides shall be barred. The company specialists, in consultation with the experts in the subject, shall recommend/provide alternative, effective herbicides and organic (bio) pesticides / Pro Biotic to overcome the problem.
  • The expert advice / guidance by consultants throughout the program and individual difficulties / problems shall be promptly dealt with a professional solution.
  • On maturity of the fodder crops, the samples of fodder shall be collected and analyzed in the company's agricultural analytical laboratory for the quality & acceptability tests;
  • Assistance in harvesting, loading and transportation of fodder shall be provided.
  • The company shall procure the fodder at the prescribed rates mutually agreed upon in advance, and the total fodder sales amount shall be worked out on the basis of the actual weighment.
  • After deducting the outstanding applicable charges (for the inputs and services provided), the net sale proceeds amount of the fodder crop shall be immediately transferred and credited to the fodder grower's bank account.
